Snap a photo of your odds and ends, and we'll spark a brilliant thing you could make from it β with printable step-by-step instructions.
Over the Moon is on a mission to get everyone to pause before throwing something away β and to reuse or donate it instead. What looks like rubbish to one person is treasure to another. Old buttons, jam jars, fabric offcuts and cardboard boxes are bursting with creative potential.
This little tool reveals the hidden value in your scrap. Have a go, make something joyful, and keep good stuff out of landfill.
Visit weareoverthemoon.org βTake a photo of your pile of bits, or upload one. Then tell us what's in there with a tap.
We reveal a gallery of crafts you could make from exactly what you've got. Pick the one you love.
Print your step-by-step instructions as a tidy PDF and away you go. Reused, not binned.
Snap a photo or upload one, then tap the bits you can see. We'll do the rest.
Paste an Anthropic API key and we'll ask Claude to spot the materials in your photo for you. The key stays in your browser only. No key? No problem β just tick the bits below by hand.
Tap everything you've got. The more you tick, the better the ideas.
We're a community arts organisation spreading the joys of creativity, sustainability and community along the Sussex coast.
A creative reuse hub in Brighton (Community Base) and Shoreham (The Circular Space). Become a day or year member and take away reclaimed materials for art, craft, play, theatre and DIY β all at very low cost.
Pop in with clean, non-hazardous bits and bobs β textiles, buttons, beads, yarn, fabric, paper, card, haberdashery, packaging β and we'll redistribute them for creative reuse instead of landfill.
Hands-on making sessions for all ages, run by an army of friendly volunteer scrap sorters. Sewing, mending, making and mess β the good kind.
Everything we do champions the circular economy: keeping good materials in use, reducing waste, and proving that creativity costs the earth a lot less than buying new.
Post a photo of your reused creation. Every make goes up on the wall β and into the draw.
Every creation you share is one entry into our prize draw. We pull a winner at each Over the Moon Scrap Magic event in Brighton β make something, share it, and you could be making your next thing with us, for free!
